About
Calm Mind Warwickshire is a private CBT practice in Warwick, run by Annie — a qualified counsellor with 15 years' NHS experience working with adults and young people.

Meet your therapist
Are you feeling overwhelmed and struggling to manage your emotions? Or are you a parent noticing changes in your child's wellbeing and looking to get them some support?
I work with children and young people aged 11+, and adults, on a range of difficulties — including anxiety, depression and low mood, self‑harm and suicidal ideation, emotion regulation, distress, life changes, loss and bereavement.
I'll meet you where you are in your life and support you to make the changes you want to. Together we'll set realistic, achievable goals, and I'll help you take the steps that turn those goals into reality.
If this is your first time accessing therapy and you're feeling worried, we can explore those feelings together. I'm here to provide a safe, confidential space where you can learn coping skills you can use going forwards — somewhere you feel safe and supported.
No pressure, no obligation — just a chance to chat and decide whether we're the right fit.
A safe, confidential, non-judgmental space — in person in Warwick or online across the UK.
In our busy and demanding lives it can be hard to feel calm. I want to help people find a calmer way to live — that's where the name Calm Mind Warwickshire comes from.
I'm a qualified counsellor specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. CBT is a talking therapy proven to help with a wide range of mental-health difficulties. We work together to identify the links between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, then build tools and coping skills you can use to make real changes for yourself.
The aim is to help you find positive ways of being, and to leave you with strategies you can keep using long after our sessions end.

Alongside private practice
I work alongside my private practice in the NHS, completing mental-health assessments for children and young people. That work has given me a broad range of skills and experience to draw on.
Mental health assessments for children and adolescents
Primary and secondary school mental-health promotion work
Consulting and supporting parents to navigate appropriate support for their children
Leading focus groups for transgender adolescents
Supporting young people and adults with substance-misuse difficulties
Supporting parents of neurodivergent children
Helping parents navigate the SEND system
Bereavement counselling with adults in a hospice setting
Choosing the right therapist matters. Here's how we'll start, so you know exactly what to expect.
Before anything else, we have a no-obligation phone consultation. You can share what you'd like to gain from counselling and we'll see if I'm the right person to help.
Our first counselling session is an in-depth assessment. I'll gather some of your story and the reasons you've come to therapy, and we'll talk through your expectations and goals.
If you'd like to continue, we'll arrange regular sessions at a time that works for you — in person at the Warwick practice or online from anywhere in the UK.
